Beers&Books XXXV

Thanks, Saint Nicholas!
This morning in my boots
I found
exactly the six books I had asked for.
Plus: A bottle of Talisker.
I almost fainted:
of joy and disappointment.
Had not my third wish been
to find the author in my boot
so that, after all,
we could share the bottle?!
Oh well,
to prove my good will
I shall drink each second wee dram
on his behalf.
Sláinte, Andrew!

P.S. In a little note I just discovered
where usually my toes are to be found,
St. Nicholas let me know
that it would have been his pleasure
to present me with the author,
"but your boots are to small".

Bye bye, Bicycle

What a bicycle!
Sergeant Pluck would be delighted
(to confiscate it)
as would the magnificent Jams O'Donnell.
To Seanso Pansa it looks like an iron donkey.
And, indeed, we met not far from La Mancha.
Don Quijote's country, that is,
not Don QuiScottie's.
If the sky doesn't drop on my head,
I shall be there from January till April
for a long-desired quest within the realm of the letters.

Laughing Lhursday*

* [For first time visitors]:
Typo in the title? Nah. It's just that I would not let a tiny T spoil an avantgardistic alliteration.

Trees and a windmill:
A case for Don QuiScottie.
Obviously, eh?

The Don becomes 13

Even Venus, Jupiter and Lady Luna
are smiling:

Don QuiScottie becomes 13!
Well, cross sum wise.
So let's praise him
and
The Golden Helmet of Perthino.

Laughing Lhursday

Not only his Princess,
Venus, Jupiter and the Moon
too send a smile
to the both noble and valiant Squire

Don QuiScottie loves Windmills

According to what Anomnius and Dulcinea, the Precious Pearl of Perth,
are telling, windmillish things are happening in DonQuiscottie's bald head:
He seems to have started totally new an amazing aventure.
